I'm a broadcast TV editor and film maker with over 10 years experience working for a wide variety of clients and programmes across entertainment, music, comedy and reality genres as well as branded content and corporate films.
My speciality is in fast turnaround and high quality entertaining output. My experience in reality television allows me to very quickly identify and build a compelling story from all manner of source material.
I am a skilled user of both Avid Media Composer and the Adobe Creative Suite software for both editing and motion graphics as well as an experienced camera operator too!
After graduating from the University of Leeds with a BA in Broadcasting, I started my TV career at CBBC's flagship magazine programme Blue Peter, then worked for the BBC's teen content strand 'Switch', where I filmed, directed and edited over 500 live editions of ‘The 5:19 Show’ as well as teen drama (The Cut), news (Revealed) and factual programming.
Since becoming freelance in 2011 I have been privileged to work on some amazing and high profile projects including The X Factor, The Voice UK, Strictly Come Dancing, Big Brother and the BAFTA TV and Film Awards.
